Roman Limes: Travelling with Lucius

This citytour will take you along the archaological sites of the Roman era in the centre of Woerden.

The Romans lived in Woerden and surroundings from around 41 till approximately 275 A.D. They have left many traces in the city. The first discoveries in Woerden already happened in 1590. During archaological research they found several Roman vessels, the contours of the castellum, a lot of objects and many more.
